Christina's professional misconduct is now official

You can’t do this [FreeDomain Radio] without me and I certainly couldn’t do what I’m doing in my own work without you.
           - Christina Molyneux to her husband Stefan Molyneux in a public internet podcast
Note:  Stefan Molyneux has zero credentials in the area of counseling, therapy, or psychology*

Christina Molyneux/Papadoupolos is being professionally called to task for her practices and her active participation in Freedomain Radio  (FDR).  Here is he specific text from the College of Psychiatrists of Ontario:
Ms. Christina Papadopoulos committed professional misconduct in making public statements and providing advice to the public via the website www.freedomainradio.com and pod casts available thereon; specifically, she:

1. failed to maintain the standards of the profession contrary to subsection 1(2) of the Professional Misconduct Regulation. This failure included providing information, advice or comment to the public in a manner contrary to section 6.5 of the Standards of Professional Conduct (Effective September 1, 2005) ("Standards"), providing psychological services while objectivity, competence and effectiveness were compromised contrary to section 12.2 of the Standards, and rendering opinions that were not based upon current, reliable, adequate and appropriate information contrary to section 14.3 of the Standards.

2. provided a service that she knew or ought to have known was not likely to benefit the client, contrary to section 1(9) of the Professional Misconduct Regulation.

3. engaged in conduct or performed an act, in the course of practicing the profession, that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by members as disgraceful, dishonourable, or unprofessional, contrary to section 1(34) of the Professional Misconduct Regulation.

According to Stefan Molyneux, Christina Molyneux is the founder of the FDR defoo concept that there are no good parents in the world and that you can't be free until you rid yourself of your irrational attachment to them, friends, siblings, etc.  It is curious that in addition to founding the defoo concept at FDR, Christina seems to also rely on her husband for input on matters psycological.

*  I picked up this obvious observation from FDR Liberated and it seems to apply here.  According to Stefan Molyneux's own accounts: he was mostly abandoned by his father as an infant. He was neglected by his own mother and threw her out of the house when he was 15. He has never been on the receiving end of parental love of any kind.  He has a Master’s Degree in history. He read some psychology books and went to therapy once.  Molyneux has never experienced the healthy love of a parent.  He certainly has never had any genuine, personal interactions with parents in the critical adolescence-into-adulthood phase. And directly quoted from FDR Liberated:  "Therefore, he could not describe either of these things from his own experience any more than a blind man can describe colors.  Relationships with parents are as foreign to Molyneux as the moons of Jupiter. The biggest surprise to me is how few people ever point that out."

An FDR true believer may look past Moly's lack of credentials and completely out of touch life experience and then still buy into his anti-family nuttiness.  But is there any remotely reasonable explanation as to why a licensed therapist (married or not) would ever, ever, ever look to Stefan Molyneux for guidance, input or advice in the area of family counseling?  Do her patients know that in her candid moments when talking to her husband her true belief is: "I certainly couldn’t do what I’m doing in my own work without you."

  1. What a silly concept. You can never truly be free if you're always running away from mom and dad.

  2. Thank you for posting this information. Both she and Molyneaux have been horribly influencing some very young and intelligent people for quite a while. I find it ironic that he enjoys the laughter of his daughter while he is at work encouraging other people's children to abandon their families.
I have read mutltiple posts from parents across the globe whose young adult children have been lured away by Molyneux's dogmatic mantra that parents have abused, mistreated, demoralized and dominateed them. Is there an agency or groups whose focus is to oversee such cult-like tactics?

    1. Not so sure about'over seeing' but here is a site in the UK looking to help those affected by the likes of Molyneux.
      http://www.catalystcounselling.org.uk/

The home page tells you what they are about and it seems there is currently very little help for victims.
Also 'CEOP' in the UK would be interested in these sort of activities if minor's are affected.

    3. I'd be interested in starting a group with the aim to stop online political cults if I can get funding to do it as a not for profit. Rev Moly Moonbeam would be my first target but not my only one.

    4. I reported him to cult watch.org with a short explanation of who he is, what his worst behavior is, & encouraging them to do their own, independent research of him. Hopefully others have done the same or will do the same in the future. It seems because Christina received some consequences, she learned her lesson & cut out the participation in the cult. Stef might need to suffer some actual consequences. He allowed his wife to take the brunt of it this time & he got off virtually scot free. He has no incentive to clean up his act just yet.

  3. I hope she is getting her license revoked. It won't stop their site though. My bf has a defooed family member. It is truly the weirdest thing. I personally do not talk to my parents, but it was a choice that was hard to make and not something someone told me to do. Nor was the abuse stuff that someone else made up and convinced me it happened. There are few in the family that actually communicate with my parents and we are all sad about it. These kids have no idea. . . . And this all so they can keep the Molyneuxs from actually having to work.

  4. Interesting story, I commented one of his videos, an interview with Alex Jones, and after seeing all the vitriol that Moly's supporters where hurling at Alex, I commented how Stefan's minions are intolerant of other points of view and the Moly himself seems to be a borderline cult leader and surprise surprise, I was blocked. I am beginning to dislike this guy more and more everyday...

    1. I have been questioning his qualifications, attempting to reason with his week minded minions, and suggesting that he is a manipulative cult leader; in a several youtube vids for a week or so now. And I am astounded that he has neither replied or blocked me. Yet! I just wish it were hard to believe that his week minded minions put soooooo much stock in his unfounded opinions simply because the "like" him. Especially since most of what he does is complain and pedal doom and gloom...

  5. Ms. Papadopoulos USED to be a lovely person. We were colleagues and lovers for a time, and I never could have imagined her hooking up with a lunatic or abandoning her professional ethics/responsibilities. It was clear to me that she was looking for a meaningful relationship but was willing to settle for scraps. She should have left this idiot (Molyneux) on the heap where she found him. She deserves much better than being tangled up with him. I truly believe that he has her under his spell.

  6. This guy Stefan in my humble opinion has NPD certainly appears to fit the Symptoms from what I have seen and heard. I have two teenagers and would be horrified if they became members of his "cult" website. Currently I have been warning people on youtube posting comments in relation to his videos. One video he made recently the heading is "There is no such thing as Mental Illness". I was disturbed to see this heading and even more disturbed to see alot of his sheeple agreeing with his video. Stefan was clearly playing with definitions of illness and made some points that due the defintion you could not argue. But in general terms this video would and can manipulate vulnerable people with a mental illness to believe his nosense and that would be for them highly unproductive. Why is he allowed to spread such manipulative nonsense, his website and youtube account should be closed down.

    1. You wrote -..his website and youtube account should be closed down.-?? That sounds very cult like and dictatorial

    2. You need to read the post before you comment on it. I never said Moly's website should be closed down. But even if I did, THAT is NOT censorship. It amazes me when Moly toddlers post here and don't have the first clue about political philosophy as regards the difference between state force and private property. YouTube is a private entity. As is his Internet Service Provider If either decides shut him down, that is their choice and once again, it is NOT censorship. If the state tries to shut him down, that is censorship. Get it? Do you see the difference between freedom and state force? Whew.

    3. Even then if a few hackers chose to shut him down same deal.

    4. Well it seems to be a good thing that ive only ever watched his economic videos

    5. I agree. If Moly would stick to economics it would be better. But he can't make a buck unless he gets people to defoo, get depressed and then give him money so they can fill the emotional void they created for themselves.

  8. I listened to Stef for all of volume 1. I think some 260 episodes. Only possible due to having a job which involved being on the road for long periods. He made a lot of sense, quite witty, seemed to know a little about a lot rather than a lot about a little, except in the family realm. Generally, I thought his arguments were well articulated, reasonably logical, and some things were quite obvious once pointed out. But as time went on he spoke about his blissful marriage etc., and I don't know what it was in particular, but he began to come across as a predator, namely, it certainly seemed like he was trying to isolate his wife from the herd (family). Of course, this was only a hunch, a perception, but Volume 1 was enough for me. I don't know what it was, but eventually I just thought. . . nah, there's something off with this guy. Still can't pin it, but he does have a valid point with cutting off toxic relationships whether they're family or friends. But that's nothing new. He just seems damaged to me. And all the intellect in the world is still a compensation for some other aspect being undercompensated or unfulfilled. Wanting to impress yourself on the world is certainly not a natural state, at least to me.
